What won’t it do? Couldn’t there be a better question to ask? You can create the ideal smoothie with your Blendtec Total Classic Blender. You’ll always get a thick, creamy consistency free of any lumps. Whether it’s the consistently popular green smoothie or one with ice cubes, seeds, or almonds. The Oster and other budget blenders are unable to mix as thoroughly or reproduce the creaminess.
The Blendtec is, in my opinion, the best blender for preparing smoothies. But that is only the beginning of what you can do with it. Additionally, you may create yogurt, sauces, spreads, marinades, salsas, batters, dips, soups, salads, juices, and more. Preprogrammed blending cycles. A feature that I’ve come to enjoy as well, popped out when I spoke to people who adore their Blendtec. In other words, the Blendtec touchpad has buttons for all of your blending requirements. Including the Smoothie button, I described before.
Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt, Ice Crush/Milkshake, Soups/Syrups/Fondues, Sauces/Dips/Dressings/Batters, Whole Juice, and Smoothie are some of the buttons that are available.
Simply push a blending button, then relax and watch the Blendtec work. It will turn off on its own when done. The desired consistency and texture are obtained thanks to these automatic blend cycles. The blending buttons take the uncertainty out of how long and at what speeds to blend things. Because no one will ever remember.
The pulse button, speed up, and speed down buttons (10 speeds total) can also be used to manually blend. A small LCD screen located below the buttons displays the remaining time for the automatic blend or the duration of any manual blending. It also records the total number of blends you’ve made. This blender really is “smart.”

Plastic Jar: The 2-liter blender jar is square, BPA-free, and has a beautiful tight-fitting cover. This design makes it easier to move the food around and push it down to the blade level. It is lightweight, easy to pour from, and easy to get food out of. No need to be concerned that your glass jar will break. If you require additional volume, 3-quart jars are now readily accessible.
Power: The Blendtec’s 1,560-watt, 3-HP (Peak Horsepower) direct-drive motor is commercial-grade. And its 2-prong stainless steel blade can spin at up to 29,000 rpm. In plain English, this machine is a powerful one that can combine just about everything.

Simple to Clean: To clean. All you need to do is add some warm water, some soap, and push the pulse button briefly. After rinsing, you’re done!
Free Recipe Book: When you buy a Blendtec. You also get an owner’s manual, a user guide, a lovely 213-page recipe book. And an instructional DVD with 16 recipe videos.
Customer service: I’ve contacted customer service twice, and both interactions went quite well. One caller complained about a broken jar, which was promptly replaced. Blendtec stands by its merchandise.

Any complaints?
Its loudness has been cited as the main grievance. This, in our opinion, applies to just about every blender. The Oster is unquestionably noisier than the Blendtec, which is just somewhat louder than our food processor. When blending, we don’t cover our ears or leave the room, though both are options if your ears are delicate.
Another minor issue is how easily the jar scratches. This is accurate if you use abrasive cleaning pads and sponges and disregard the owner’s manual. Don’t worry about it; stick to paper towels and cloth napkins.
